The company marked its 170th anniversary and 25 years since its arrival in Bulgaria
On 29 November, Lesaffre Bulgaria celebrated two important occasions – 170 years since the global foundation of Lesaffre Group and 25 years of Lesaffre on the Bulgarian market. To celebrate the double jubilee, the company's local branch invited key clients, partners, colleagues and friends for a memorable party at Ozone Skybar and Lounge in Grand Hotel Millennium, Sofia.
Lesaffre Bulgaria's anniversary is the first that was marked on the local market with a grand party and lots of guests. For the past 25 years, since the company officially arrived in Bulgaria, its activities have been focused on the establishment and growth of its business of producing and distributing top quality yeast and baking ingredients. The evidence for its success are the scores of clients and partnerships, some of which have been around since Lesaffre's first days in Bulgaria. Mrs Veneta Pisarska, the manager of the local branch, thanked these people and companies by presenting them with special plaques and diplomas.

Lesaffre's 170th global anniversary was celebrated in the presence of company representatives from all over Europe – regional managers and experts from the headquarters in Lille, France. The special guest, Mrs Corine Lesaffre, is a direct heir of the Lesaffre family and is a member of the Board of Directors and Director of Communications of the Lesaffre Group. Logically, she played a key part in the festive programme.
The company was officially greeted by the Deputy Ambassador of France to Bulgaria, Mrs Stéphanie Petitbon, and Mr Stéphane Delahaye, President of the French-Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce. Ambassadors from other European countries where Lesaffre Bulgaria exports its products also attended the party, along with managers and members of many Bulgarian institutions, local entrepreneurs, governmental and non-governmental organisations.
